Found Heaven or Vegas on Prime, a movie I’ve been meaning to check out and have now finally done so. Richard Grieco plays a gigolo who finds a troubled stripper played by Yasmine Bleeth beaten and bruised on the street just as he’s about to leave Vegas and being a gigolo for good. She wants to go with him to Montana and he reluctantly agrees but she convinces him to stop off at her old home town and they stay for a while where nothing seems to have changed much except that a group of marauders are running amok in the town and the stripper gets involved with them and everything goes bad. A maudlin drama that never really gets going, has barely any plot then wraps things up neatly and quickly. A pre-Con Air Monica Potter turns up as the stripper’s stepmother who has a thing for the gigolo. And it doesn’t have the great Cocteau Twins song the title came from so it loses points for that.
