1. In the last minutes of voting, I couldn’t even see how the poll ranked for the best nude scenes lol. What time will the result be released?

         1. I was planning to let it go for several more hours, but there doesn’t seem to be any point to that. The final order seems pretty well set, give or take minor swaps.

            It’s pretty much a five-way tie between Margaret Qualley, Mikey Madison, Katrina Kreile, Nataly Rocha and Leila George. There was no scene to capture the imagination with the right mixture of beauty, fame, freshness, imagination and good nudity. There was no Heather Graham nor Eva Green nor Katie Holmes nor Daddario

            Katrina Kreile had everything but fame.

            Margaret Qualley was tainted by prosthetics.

            Mikey Madison? If you study that nudity carefully, it’s just not that impressive.

            Leila George seemed to have all the right components, but her scenes just didn’t quite cross the finish line. Too coy. Too filtered.

            I still think the three best scenes of the year were kind of off the books:

            1. Helen Mirren showing absolutely everything in the never-before-seen Caligula footage.

            2. Phoebe Cates in the never-before-seen raw camera footage from Paradise.

            3. The video-within-a-film scene that they were watching in Kinds of Kindness. If Lanthimos has that scene as an HD stand-alone and releases all the uncut footage, it would be the best Blu-Ray extra ever, if not the greatest achievement in the history of mankind. (And you know what? He’s probably nuts enough to do it.)

            2. It’s true, but I don’t know if yorgos lanthimos has this scene that they were watching on TV, it’s not possible to say that this scene exists separately… But yes, it would be the greatest achievement in the history of nudity in cinema, at least of the century 21 lol.
               I agree that Katrina Kreile’s scene is spectacular, if it were Scarlett Johansson there, Margot Robbie or even Margareth Qualley, this scene would be considered one of the best nude scenes in history. People try to deny it and say no, but the fame of the actress in question defines 70% of the quality and how she will be remembered, the same thing goes for Nataly Rocha’s scene

            3. As a perfect illustration, consider Margot Robbie. When she did The Wolf of Wall Street, she finished a distant 6th in our 2014 poll, and did not make Mr. Skin’s list at all. Somehow by 2020, it had become our 8th best scene of the millennium.

               There were no Blu-Ray extras. There was no additional footage that suddenly got revealed to the world. The very same scene that was mediocre in 2014 was suddenly the internet equivalent of a world heritage site.

               The explanation?

               Of course the scene was always that good, but Margot was unknown in 2013-2014. She had become a star by 2020.

And if this poll were done today, there would definitely be Sydney Sweeney’s scene in Euphoria or The Voyeurs, because she has become a big star in just the last few years, from 2020 to now. Speaking of which, I hope that one day a special poll will be made with the best nude scenes in the history of cinema. Of course, I know it would take a lot of work and extensive study into the scenes, separation etc… But it would be really good. It’s curious to think what the outcome would be.
