There has been some debate on this forum recently on whether Ms. Pugh is a great beauty, with a fair number of people saying just “meh” (although that is certainly not the universal opinion, and I think that she is generally rated as attractive by the general population). I have previously – maybe a couple of years ago – made “meh” comments myself about her on these boards. I don’t find her face or her body to be spectacular or classically beautiful, especially not compared to some others featured here.
AND YET….AND YET…..I do admit that she has a sort of earthy sexuality that is QUITE strong. REALLY strong. Put it this way, if I were single, we were alone, and she asked, I would not say “No”, that is for sure. She reminds me in some ways of my very first girlfriend,, certainly in body type and a little bit in the face as well. I was a bit of a late starter and she very much took the initiative all those years ago. I did not say “No” to her. I remain grateful to this day.

Whether you think she’s attractive or not, she’s an excellent actress .
Well, let’s keep things in perspective. I don’t think anybody has said she isn’t attractive, just that her looks aren’t extraordinary. She’s attractive like young Kate Winslet, but not like young Halle Berry.

I want to watch that new East of Eden mini-series but I am reluctant because I’d be watching her a lot. I wish almost any other actress in her demographic would have gotten the part instead of her.
I find her face absolutely stunning in her early career scenes like in Marcella. Also her breasts and her nipples are fantastic here
Kate Winslet – young and old – is another one that I would put in the “earthy sexuality” category.
I said in the other thread, I find her much more attractive when she’s in a movie than when she’s out and about as herself. Her usual fashion sense just doesn’t jibe with me (although she looks okay here).
