Lovesick is a new Netflix series based on an acclaimed 1997 novel, Mal de amores, by Mexican author Ángeles Mastretta.
During the Mexican Revolution, a young woman navigates love, fights for her independence and dreams of becoming a doctor. The series tells the parallel story of the evolution of a country and Emilia’s own growth.
