Paths of glory, man. Paths of glory.
The Hulk (Terry Gene Bollea) died while trying to contort his elderly body enough to tear his shirt.
Jokes aside, rumors about his very poor health have been swirling for some time now. Bubba the Love Sponge has been talking about this for more than a month, claiming that Hulk’s appointment with the Reaper was imminent. Various people issued denials, but Bubba was obviously correct.
I know that many of you dislike Drunken Stepfather, but I read some obits of The Hulkster, and I think the Soused One was the writer who nailed it. DS rightly pointed out, as Norm McDonald once did with the crocodile hunter, that Hogan lived to a ripe old age, considering his profession.

He was an icon and a lot of nostalgia thinking back to his era when I was younger. It’s too bad he wasted all of the good will that people had in his charisma and character by generally being a trashy person outside the ring.
The people here who don’t like Drunken Stepfather are sensitive pussies (liberals).
I hate liberals because they are a bunch of whiny-ass pussies. I also hate conservatives because they’re greedy dickless cunts.
The moron is back…with his equally moronic views.
Says the asshole who voted.
Of course, pedo-lover #1 Steverino is here and butthurt that another of his intellectual heroes is headed to a piss-soaked grave.
Chomos and kid-diddlers of the Grand Old Pedo party are really having a tough week!
Rot in Piss motherfucker. He may have been the guy that introduced me to pro wrestling but it was guys like Bret Hart, HBK, the Undertaker, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Randy Savage, Sting, the Crock, DX, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Kenny Omega that made me love pro wrestling as it also introduced me to people like Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, the Four Pillars of Heaven in Mitsuharu Misawa, Toshiaka Kawada, Kenta Kobashi, and Akira Taure, and many others that made me love pro wrestling. I will never dismiss Hogan’s contributions to the business but he also did a lot of horrible things such as ratting out Jesse Ventura to Meekmahan, putting himself over everyone else, lying about everything from wrestling 400 days a year to auditioning to play bass for Metallica, destroying Randy Savage’s marriage, and those vile racist things he said.
I do feel bad for those who did genuinely cared about him with his daughter Brooke being the one I feel for the most as she had broken away from that awful family to have a family of her own with her kids never getting the chance to meet their grandfather and probably for the best. The lasting image of him getting booed at the Staple Center (is that what it’s called) on Netflix will live rent-free in my head.
Fuck you Cunt Hogan. BTW, Chuck Mangione died a couple of days ago. R.I.P. Chuck, thanks for the music and for your appearances on “King of the Hill”.
Ditto on Chuck Mangione.
Fuck Hogan.
He fucked over his fellow wrestlers by busting their potential union.
He let himself be used by the piece of shit Peter Thiel to destroy Gawker.
As a wrestler he was a huge part of getting me interested in it, along with Macho Man & Elizabeth, who did some of the most fascinatingly entertaining promos with Mean Gene. But as a person, I couldn’t stand Hogan. He was a stupid cretin and frequently showed it by being an extreme racist, psychotic Trump zealot, and entitled prick who fucked his best friend’s wife.
But he’s gone now, and all that remains are memories of him body slamming Andre the Giant, which is my favorite wrestling moment.
The sad thing is when Mean Gene died, Diamond Dallas Page went on video saying how all these wrestlers like Hogan and so on would show up to his funeral and it would be the biggest reunion ever for all the eras Mean Gene encompassed. Then was heartbroken when it was virtually vacant outside of a handful of random wrestlers.
Goes without saying, Hogan didn’t show up at all to his funeral despite all the years together, but has always taken the time to make the rounds for whatever carny shit he’s been selling over the years like his beer. He showed time and time again he was just a narcissist who cared only about himself, despite having opportunity after opportunity in the wrestling business to do something more than for himself. This isn’t even counting all the stuff in his personal and political life that went on outside the ring.
In the end, just another famous person who had the cultural zeitgeist for a time, and did nothing with it except benefit himself and ends up in the ground to be eventually forgotten and remembered as a crappy person who played a character when it’s all said and done.
Man, I hated him so much as a kid. His bit annoyed me so much, and it was topped off by him supposedly being a face.
Then as an adult, he seemed even worse. What a terrible person (I mean for who he was as a human being, I now respect the bit that I hated as a kid).
The Sam Kinison of wrestling.
