Say, what? MILLIONaires, with an M, as the standard of wealth? Was this article written in 1960?

Within the next few years, maybe sooner, we will have our first trillionaire. Elon is about halfway there, and Larry Ellison actually passed him for a short time last week before falling back into second.

According to Forbes, the top ten richest people earned an average of $20 billion apiece in September alone! Elon made 75 billion last month. That’s more than a million dollars per minute, if you’re scoring at home.

To add some context:

Elon’s gain of $75 billion last month was greater than the monthly GDP of 43 of the 50 states, and 173 of the world’s countries.

There are about 100 countries where the value of all private wealth in the entire country is lower than Elon’s personal wealth. In about 65 of those countries the entire amount of private wealth is less than Elon made last month.

To once again cite the wisdom of the ever-wise Jeff Spicoli, “Righteous bucks!”

This is a German made-for-TV film. Translation: “The policeman’s niece.”

Magdalena Laubisch plays a 23-year-old woman who moves from East Germany to Heilbronn as a candidate to pursue a career within a special police unit. The character is based on the infamously murdered police officer, Michéle Kiesewetter. The film gives the character a frustrating life as an ambitious policewoman who asserts herself in a still very male-dominated profession.

Based on IMDb, she batted 1.000: three films, three nude scenes.

May was a model before she became an actress, under the name of Terri May or Terry May, which appears to be her real name. She had quite a solid career as a model with Vogue covers and other high-end work. She had no credits for either acting or modeling after 1995, for reasons not known to me.

According to ancestry.com, she went to high school in the Dallas area. This appears to be her yearbook photo:

As far as I know, she is now living in Prescott, Arizona, where she is known as Terri May Leo.

How deep in the disappointment for the nude scene in episode 1?

Four levels deep

Level one, it’s an old lady

Level two, it’s not a hot Heather Graham-like old lady, but more of a Ruth Gordon-like oldster.

Level three, it’s not even the right old lady. Laurie Metcalf used a body double.

Level four, the effin’ body double didn’t even get properly naked. She used a merkin.

If we ever do a poll for the WORST nude scene of the year, here’s an early favorite.

In addition, there is another naked body in the parallel Nazi story.

As for the Lesley Manville scene in episode 4 … well, it’s not much of a scene, and she’s no Daddario, and it’s just a quick flash – but at least it’s really Lesley. (I think.)
