The series had a long nudity drought in episodes 14-18, with only some brief topless nudity from the older lady in e17, but it came back with some nudity in 19:
Grazi Massafera
Brief exposure from Isabelle Nassar
Here is the other scene I mentioned above, with Thalma de Freitas in episode 17. It really isn’t worth your time, but it’s below for completists:

Damn, 19 episodes and most of them have nudity.
American TV producers should take note. New game of thrones was like “best we can do is 6 episodes and a guy shitting on camera”
That new GoT series is slow, albeit not a bad series, but some nekkid women would definitely liven it up.
The plot of Madam Beja is pure soap opera, with betrayals and deceptions piled upon one other at an absurd rate, but it’s not trying to be Schindler’s List. It’s an entertainment show, and it does offer over-the-top entertainment, as any soap opera should. The cinematography is first-rate, and there are naked women, and it’s fun to try to guess the crazy plot twists, so … I’m kinda hooked,
This soap opera is also an HBO production, for those who were doubting that they no longer show so much nudity, haha. The problem was never HBO itself, Netflix, or the other production companies… Most of the time, most of the famous actresses that people would like to see naked aren’t so willing to appear nude frequently. Some have never even been nude before.
Is HBO producing, or is a Brazilian studio producing and HBO is just scooping up the distribution rights?
“The problem was never HBO itself, Netflix, or the other production companies…”
I think the thing you’re seeing more in recent years is a little more… interrogation of why a nude scene might exist? Like, I think a lot of the ones from the past existed because a producer wanted to be able to be on set when someone got naked, regardless of what else is happening in the story.
“Most of the time, most of the famous actresses that people would like to see naked aren’t so willing to appear nude frequently.”
Certainly in American productions, there’s a stigma, and you get a thing a lot of times where someone’s job on a show is to Be The Naked Person, especially in cases where there’s background extras who are naked but no named characters.
As far as I know, it’s an HBO original production. And on the other points you raised, I think we agree, you added, right?
Yeah, we were fundamentally in agreement, I was just expounding on the thoughts.
IMDB lists the production company as “Floresta Productions” for what it’s worth.
As for Netflix, they have their own South American titty show: the second season of “In The Mud” just came out and it is LOADED with female nudity and sex scenes. Produced in Argentina.
I guess South America will be our savior when it comes to TV nudity.
It could be. Ultimately, as long as it’s on Netflix or HBO, it doesn’t really matter who produced it… Especially since they rarely produce it themselves; they usually just distribute it.
