Beckinsale is battling back from illness, but Connelly seems to have chosen this look.

The first photo is her promoting the new season of “Dark Matter,” an okay-ish AppleTV series that had a perfectly serviceable finale at the end of season one and did NOT need a season 2.
She was drawn to that role in Dark Matter because as she explained in Irish America:
“I was very interested in physics when I was younger and I had thought that when I got to college I would major in physics. Yale is quite a rigorous university and I soon realized that I was not going to change the world with my aptitude in physics… It was on a whole different level from high school physics and although it was fascinating, she [and I] struggled with it more than the other kids.”
I quite liked Dark Matter and you’re not wrong about it not needing a 2nd season, but to be fair I might not have gotten around to watching the *first* season if not for the announcement of a 2nd!
