Aesthete did two versions of this. He captured a full-screen broadcast in 2010, then an HD broadcast of the widescreen version in 2019.

Tuna did the widescreen version on DVD.
I’m sure Tuna would have done the full screen version if he had known of its existence, but he did his captures from a DVD in 1.85:1 ratio, which was what he had available.
To my knowledge, there is no full screen version in HD.

I recall reading that this nude scene wasn’t in the script, but on the day of, Stone herself was the one who went, “You know, this would be funnier if I was naked!” So Brooks went with it.
Interesting. I like Sharon Stone. She’s beautiful and sharp, has wit. We need more of this.
I believe when some women call themselves nuts, it’s often a sign they are very intelligent. In a way, they are patronizing.

You could make a whole long thread of all the different ways nudity can be masked/cropped depending where or how it was shown, especially any movie from the 20th century that got pan & scanned for cable or VHS, to when the same movie goes back to its theatrical aspect ratio in the DVD/Blu era
And this Stone example is the same reason you see more of, for instance, Bridget Fonda’s ass in Jackie Brown when it’s scanned with more room at top & bottom – old heads will recall in olden days, when every movie in a theater was a film print, you’d sometimes see a boom mike at the top of a shot. That was the fault of whatever projectionist masked the frame, not the print – otherwise every director would be Ed Wood lol
