Might explain why no one watches Apple TV even though everyone probably has been given 6 mos. of free service multiple times when they buy products. I got one with my new tv a couple years back, but it’s not worth my time to activate it. People surveyed say they watch streaming more than cable because they find it more entertaining, apparently Apple TV doesn’t qualify.
Nielsen lists the most watched platforms in streaming. They list the top 11 names before they just state the rest as other. The top of the list is youtube representing 9.9% of all streaming following by Netflix, Prime, etc. all the way down to Pluto at 0.8 of streaming. Apple TV falls somewhere below that under the heading of Other. Maybe Apple might want to stop feeling good about things that no one cares about like Emmy nominations and create something that people want to see.
