You all know about his roles in Apocalypse Now, M*A*S*H and The Godfather, but did you remember that he has played both Ike and Stalin (not one of his best efforts), or that he was Boo Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird, or Robert E. Lee in Gods and Generals? He left an amazing legacy. You could make an argument that he was the most successful character actor in history.
