Filhas de Eva (Daughters of Eve) was a Brazilian series that ran one season in 2021.
Filhas de Eva tells the story of these three women trapped in patterns that don’t make them happy. Stella repeats the fate of her generation, having surrendered her dreams for marriage and motherhood. Lívia, her daughter, has a career but suffers from not having control over the love life she envisioned. Cléo, with low self-esteem, needs to secure a roof over her head and survive before considering any personal achievement. Meanwhile, Dora (Debora Ozório), Lívia’s daughter, struggles between family models and the feminism of today’s young women.
Fortunately for us, the scene in episode 8 took place outdoors, and the scene in episode 11 took place in those halcyon days before the great Brazilian Light Bulb Shortage.
