They are smaller than I thought.
The Globes program is the only award show I look forward to. Oh, yeah, the awards are just as random; the intros are just as trite; and the acceptance speeches are just as dull, predictable and overlong as the other shows, but I don’t watch that crap. I watch selected clips on YouTube, and the hosts can be great. I don’t think anyone will ever top Ricky Gervais, who is the gold standard for award-show hosting, but Nikki is good. Damned good.
