You people are so boring and predictable. Everything is a conspiracy, it couldn’t possibly be that beauty standards have shifted. Nobody is forcing you to also find them attractive. If there are no stars these days you can find attractive, that says more about you than them.

People have to rationalize their own miserableness by blaming it on nebulous ephemeral terms like woke.
You’re just a miserable hater, Zendaya, MBB etc would have been gorgeous in the 80s and 90s too.

That is one thing that gives me hope. 2024 by most definitions is an apocalyptic hellscape. But there are still beautiful young women wearing skimpy (or when we’re really lucky no) clothes. It was thus in 1924, 1964 and 1994. As long as Millie (or Clara Bow, or Catherine Deneuve, or Winona Ryder, or whoever the hot young thing in 2054 is) is posing in a tight outfit, there’s something good about this horrible old world.
While I don’t agree with his theory, and will not subscribe to his newsletter, I have to admit that I can’t begin to understand why anyone thinks Millie Bobby Brown is attractive. Even the pictures she posts of herself seem to represent an average-looking woman. As noted, however, these evaluations are subjective by nature.
That said, she seems to be a solid performer and a decent human being.

Those who think that Zendaya, MBB, et. al. are unattractive should offer up some examples of which current celebrities they do find good-looking…if for no other reason than to prove that are, in fact, capable of doling out compliments.
Attractive is not the same as beautiful which is not the same as pretty. When I was young I would have considered Zendaya extremally attractive and beautiful. Now at my old age I still consider her beautiful but find more full figured more attractive.(big boobs) Like Penny Lane it extremally attractive and pretty but maybe not as beautiful. With todays makeup and filters you can make anyone look good. As for Millie, she is a good and enjoyable actress for her age and she is cute but she is average looks for a heathy weight 20 year old. Definitely not beautiful but and average attractive. Without the make up she is no Grace Kelly! But she may grow into it. She is still very young. I can think of several actresses that are very attractive but not truly beautiful. Like Margot Robbie Very Attractive but not beautiful. I just looked at some most beautiful actress list for 2023. Most all where pretty and attractive in make up but without only a few where truly beautiful but then again I’m maybe mistaking beautiful for flawless. To be fair the same can be said about the the good old days. Every generation has a few exceptional looking woman.
