Five friends celebrate Lulu’s growing media presence on social media, mocking the ancient tools of communication, which leads to one of them disappearing. After experiencing unexplained events, the rest of the group of friends decide to find the missing person by following location information shared in a common discussion group.
The journey takes the friends to the borderlands of reality and fantasy, where the natural becomes disturbed and everyday existence is threatened. In order to find the missing person, they must dare to strip themselves of everything superficial and make the journey brutally imperfect. Will that be enough to survive?
