New Russian series, Один шанс на троих. I don’t have a good translation for this expression. Google says “One Chance For Three,” which is just a literal translation of the separate words. My Russian roommate says Один на троих, “One for three,” is a common expression for three guys sharing one bottle of vodka, but that is obviously unrelated to this story about three people in two different countries fighting over a child, with the courts getting involved. (Two Russians are the biological parents, but the Finnish courts won’t wrest their child from the step-father, a Finnish plutocrat. The details, filled with secrets, betrayals, long separations, and reconciliations, would fit into a soap opera.)
This brief peek was the only nudity in the series, and it came in the season finale.
