IMDb calls this French film a comedy, but the premise doesn’t seem like a barrel of laughs.
Simone, a cop with conservative ideas, infiltrates a feminist collective. However, her cover is thin. To divert attention and get out of this bad situation, Simone finds nothing better than to randomly accuse a man of having raped her.
She is the niece of French TV legend Michel Drucker, who was the host of the infamous Serge Gainsbourg – Whitney Houston incident; one of the greatest live TV moments of all time
Was Gainsbourg drunk? Stoned? Or just a flaming asshole?
(Well, I guess at least two of those for sure, possibly all three.)
It reminds of the famous Suzy Kolber interview of a drunk Joe Namath. At least Namath was sober enough, or discreet enough, to say “kiss” instead of “fuck.”
