This came up in another thread.
This aired in 2003, about eight years before her full-frontal scene in Take This Waltz.
Uncle Scoopy's world-weary musings about naked celebrities, sports, humor and other important, manly things.
I saw her with Seth Meyers last night and thought I’d assemble a quick retrospective. I had forgotten that her butt was ubiquitous in the period 2014-2019. 2014 – Married – E6 2015 – House of Lies – s4e3 2016 – My Blind Brother 2019 – The Sunlit Night Share…
German made-for-TV drama Berlin, post-Covid. Anton is trying to make a fresh start in life: an apprenticeship, his own garden plot with his girlfriend, a simple happiness free from drugs and crime. A new Australian/New Zealand co-production that was made in New Zealand. All comments and collages by Johnny Moronic Johnny’s remarks: Went Up the Hill is a possession horror thriller when Jack (Dacre Montgomery) comes home for the funeral of the mother who gave him up. There’s a bit of tension…
Bliss was kind of fascinating– they aired it in the US on Lifetime, I think? But very much an edited down version to make it US TV Safe, which sometimes made the climactic moments in the episodes very disjointed.
It was on Oxygen in the U.S. Some nudity, including brief breast shots, made it through Oprah’s edit. They would run late-night marathons over Christmas, calling it ‘Bliss-mas’. I was a fun attempt at erotica targeted for women.
Personally, I liked episode S01E07, In Praise of Drunkenness and Fornication, which starred Gina Wilkinson. It didn’t have much nudity, but Wilkinson showed 1 brief breast and a (very) brief full frontal shot which somehow managed to air on the U.S. edited-down version.
Sadly, Gina Wilkinson, died of cancer at age 50 in 2010. There’s an argument to be made that she qualifies for the One-and-Done nude scene challenge. I know of only that brief nude performance on screen.
