To answer the question “is France the only (?country?)that has put a 5 min.nude scene I a movie the answer would be no. I guess the person that asked us has never seen the film Room in Rome with the lead actress (Eleana Anaya)spends pretty much the entire film in the nude
You can look at percentages. Which country has the highest percentage of nudity in mainstream movies? Mainstream, so e.g. an erotic thriller from a C actress does not count, only regular movies with regular actresses (who do nudity occasionally, but most of their body of work is non nude roles) which have a nude scene somewhere.
I bet France would win this one easily.

Nice scene. The young lady in it looks good. I could have taken another 5 minutes or more of her nudity easily.
It appears that this is a 14-min short, not a feature length film. When you consider that, the young lady is naked for a significant portion of the film! Interesting, bizarre, fun scene!
Also, Tawney Kitane in The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak. She had an allergy to clothes in that one!
Please see Emmanuelle Béart in La Belle Noiseuse (1991). Ms Béart is naked for about 70% of the FOUR HOUR running time of that masterpiece.
I mean, there’s a bunch. Walkabout with Agutter. I believe Quest for Fire had some pretty constant nudity. My Bloody Valentine remake had to be close to 5 minutes. Of course, they mentioned Lifeforce above. All this off the top of my head.
The problem with Quest for Fire was that the lovely, twenty year old, Rae Dawn Chong was covered in body paint and this obscured anything you wanted to see.
Emily Browning has a nude scene in Sleeping Beauty which is about five minutes long, alongside a number of shorter ones – total nude runtime probably well over 15mins. I don’t think there’s any single nude scene in Sirens which hits the 5min mark but if you add it all up, surely. So that’s two Australian films right there, and then from New Zealand we have Nude Tuesday which has about 15 minutes of a whole ensemble of nudes. So it’s not just France, but boy am I grateful for them.
I’ve always been curious too, is there a behind the-scenes video that shows preparation for a nude scene, the actress naked, etc. I know there is a video like this of Noemie Merlant naked in behind the scenes at Emmanuelle, her preparing for a scene while being naked. Are there other examples of this? Whether in mainstream films or independent films

Here’s a rar3 example: Antares is an Austrian film which features explicit scenes even with actress Petra Morzé. There is a behind the scene clip where they are blocking a scene nude, laughing naked with the director and the cinematographer
If someone knows more examples of this, please post, because these meta level nude scenes can even be more interesting, than the actual ones.
A single nude scene that is 5 minutes long? Well, there was Naked Fear. There was a chase scene that seemed to go on forever. And there are a whole bunch of movies that take place in a nudist colony of some sort (like La Fonte des Neiges). And then the Japanese had Bohachi Bushido with the naked ninjas (with which I still haven’t figured out why they’re naked for the rest of the movie) although that might be considered closer to a porno.
