The woman he is talking about used to post on TikTok as neuroscientist Rachelle Summers. That account is now empty, but it’s difficult if not impossible to scour all traces on the internet. There was a bot that used to forward her posts to Twitter, where the entries still exist under that name. She is now posting on TikTok as Dr. Rachel Barr, although her descriptor says she is just a PhD candidate. (Perhaps she has now earned her degree and failed to update the description.)

In short: the end of the world is suddenly visible, and mere decades away. Part of the planet’s population starts partying, other people try to find a solution. He meets Anita, a beautiful young singer, and the two fall in love, even prepare to get married. But when Anita gets pregnant, Elias has just been allowed a scholarship in MIT and he wants nothing to distract him from his mission to save the planet. The couple decide to have an abortion, break off the relationship, and Elias moves to the United States.
Many years later, Elias is an experienced captain on a scientific submarine, helming Mankind’s attempt to plug the fissure. But whenever the hole in the ocean’s floor is approached, weird phenomena start taking place. One of them is that Elias inexplicably gets glimpses of the alternate life he would have led if he had stayed with Anita and raised a family with her. Confronted with the sacrifices he has made, the fissure seems to allow him a choice: sacrifice even more… or not.

Minna Wündrich – full-frontal nudity in Ivo (2024)

It’s an unsentimental drama that relates to the daily heaviness of life for a dedicated care-giver nurse named Ivo (Minna Wundrich). She travels by car treating many terminally-ill patients in their homes across Germany, using the car to refresh herself between visits.
Ivo is a forty-something single mom of a teen-ager. She hides her emotions behind her professionalism, as she treats patients for their pain and consults with them and their families about their illness. But she’s a lonely person, emotionally overwhelmed by her thankless job, one that has taken a heavy toll on her.
One of her patients is her old friend Solveigh. She violates the nurse’s code of conduct by having an affair with Solveigh’s husband. Later she will assist Solveigh as she takes her life.
Although Minna Wündrich is in her early 40s, she has no significant IMDb credits until 2020. Prior to that she spent some 15+ years as a stage performer.
