Campus Drivers is a French romantic drama TV series. All six episodes of Season 1 were released on Amazon Prime today.
Loïs (played by Carmen Kassovitz) arrives at the prestigious Belrose University with her long-time boyfriend, Max. After Max abruptly breaks up with her, Loïs is left heartbroken and stranded. She ends up crossing paths with Lane, the charismatic, commitment-phobic creator of Campus Drivers, a wildly popular student-run ride-share app on campus. An unexpected situation leads Loïs to stay at Lane’s place, setting off a slow-burn dynamic of clashing personalities, hidden wounds, and unexpected romance.
Damn, these sex scenes just keep getting darker and darker. Soon they’ll leave the lens cap on and it’ll just be sighs in the darkness. (Sighs in the Darkness is not a bad film title, now that I think about it.)
