1. She’s very striking in reality. I live in the London borough of Kensington and, about 20 years ago, Elle did too when she was married to the financier Arkie Busson. One morning, after I’ dropped my kids off at their elementary school, I was walking by a flower stall on my way to the gym when I saw a tall blonde woman with a baby stroller buying flowers. I thought ‘I know her’ but couldn’t remember in what context and couldn’t remember her name so, as I passed, I said cheerily, ‘Hi, How are you? Sorry I’ve got to rush…’. She responded equally cheerily in her Aussie accent and I realised why I recognised her.

   1. I think you only have to be old enough to be a granny, not necessarily to be one. You can’t order your children to reproduce, and you can be a MILF at 40 even if you never had kids.! For example, Jennifer Coolidge, the first famous MILF, never had kids, so is technically not a MILF at all.

      1. I dunno, I had a friend who was a grandmother at 37. She had her first child at 16, who had her first child at 20 or so.

5. Back in 2019, the average age of a first-time grandparent in the U.S. was 47. Now, it’s probably closer to 50.
