Diane Kruger turns 50 in July, but her career seems hotter than ever. She’s everywhere, and in multiple languages. I think she’s gorgeous.
How many remember that Diane once played Kellyanne Conway, although she was much too beautiful for the role. (It was a spoof.)

Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were found dead in their Los Angeles home on Sunday, Dec. 14. Authorities responding to a medical aid call around 3:30 p.m. discovered their bodies. Multiple sources tell PEOPLE that the killer was the couple’s son, Nick Reiner. Police have not yet confirmed the account.
I sort of dipped into the pool of obscurity for this, in that she is not exactly a household name, but she was a beautiful woman, and she did some excellent nudity for about a decade, mostly on British TV. Many of these TV scenes are in VHS quality, but Born of Fire is on Blu-Ray, and she looks mah-velous.
Suzan is 72 now, and still acting.

All videos are here. The quality is quite poor for The Treatment, a little better for Backup and Dante, kind of adequate for Devices and Desires, and good for Born of Fire.
Sarah’s comedic shtick is making people uncomfortable. You can’t say she holds back or that she lacks energy. In the section beginning with this short clip, she went on and on about how far her labia dangle, and that was some of the tamer material. She touched upon every unpleasant bodily function you can name. I did watch it all, and I did laugh some, but mostly I squirmed, which is presumably what I was supposed to do (the name of the special is Sarah Squirm Live + in the Flesh).
I think she’s great on SNL, especially when she embarrasses Colin Jost on Weekend Update, but this HBO special was a little too far over-the-top and too repetitious for my taste. She does seem to have a fan base. The audience seemed to love being grossed out.

In the world of digital singles, Rihanna is the best-selling female artist of all time. I would have guessed Beyonce or Taylor Swift, who are #2 and #3.
Those lists are fascinating. Which solo artist has the most diamond albums of all time (selling ten million or more copies)? I would not have guessed this correctly. It’s not Michael Jackson. Garth Brooks also has more diamond albums than the Beatles, the Eagles, Led Zeppelin or any other person or group!
The female champion for diamond albums is not Taylor Swift or Madonna. It’s a tie between Whitney Houston and Shania Twain. Taylor Swift does have the most multi-platinum albums among female artists. For gold and platinum albums, no woman has surpassed Barbra Streisand.
For all artists and/or groups, Elvis is easily the champ for gold and platinum. (101 gold albums! That’s more than the second and third place finishers added together!) Elvis easily tops all other solo artists in that the multi-platinum category as well, but falls just below the Beatles when groups are included.
In this adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood, nothing goes as expected: “Hoodie” boldly asserts her desires without fear or shame, the Wolf is far from a predator, and Grandmother is losing her mind. But the Narrator hasn’t had the last word yet…
What that description fails to capture is the sense that this, to quote Winston Churchill, is some truly fucked-up shit. Oh, Churchill went on to talk about beaches and landing grounds, but the essence of his position was that free men had to defeat the Nazis because National Socialism was some truly fucked-up shit, possibly even more fucked-up than this film.
The scenes you see below are the most normal, comprehensible parts of the film. In some of the other scenes it’s impossible to determine what is going on. It definitely needed Count Floyd to come on and say, “Pretty scary, eh kids? Did you see those close-ups and mustaches? Arooooooo! You don’t think close-ups are scary? Have you ever seen Kristi Noem? Aroooooo!”
Oddly enough, per IMDb, Epona Guillaume once played the famous Eve Curie in a straight, sincere 2014 TV film about her even more famous mother, Madame Marie Curie. After such a “straight” beginning, her career has taken some sharp turns into the angry indie realm, where she sings and acts.
(She played Eve as a child, by the way. Epona was about 12 or 13 at the time.)
