I’m not up on my “real housewives.” Once in a while I see a clip somewhere, and it seems to me that nothing is “real” at all. I still don’t know whether the situations are scripted or they found the most clueless, most entitled human beings on the planet.
Could be both, I suppose.
It seems to me that the whole thing started with a couple of places like Orange County and New York City, but has now expanded dramatically. Obviously many people must watch these things, because they keep adding more and more of them. It seems that there are now real housewives of everywhere from Oshkosh to Sudan. The Real Housewives of Sudan are a little thin from that whole famine thing, but still not as thin as the ones from Beverly Hills.
This particular lady is from The Real Housewives of Cheshire, which is apparently a real place somewhere in the north of England, and not a figment of Lewis Carroll’s imagination. I suppose “Ampika” is also a real name, and not a fictional pal of the March Hare.

There is nothing real about her tits either.
I’d never attach the word many to viewers of anything on basic cable because basic is the filler tier. The shows are supposed to be really cheap to make and the expected number of viewers is low. It appears that the number of viewers for Real Housewives series nowadays is measured in the hundreds of thousands with a very successful season being close to a million. Back when they started before streaming took over, they could get over 2 million viewers each week. In a country of well over 300 million people, you can see how little it takes to support a basic cable show.
When it’s five below, I’m not picky about bikini tits; these will do, whether acoustic or electric. There’ s also a Cheshire in CT, if the Brits ever want to do a twist! episode and/or expense a trip to The States.
