There is some kind of mystery about this film, but I don’t know what it is. In a nutshell, the puzzle is that the film supposedly came out in December of 2016, but nobody has seen it. There are exactly zero votes at IMDb. There are exactly zero reviews. There are three external links on the IMDb page – all dead! Bonitzer is a well-known actress, a fact which should have given the film a little traction, but her Wikipedia page omits this credit altogether. There are a few results from a Google search for the film, but none of them include any info except the cast and crew – not even a plot summary.
Allocine says it is a 2018 film and summarizes it as follows:
Véra, a young dancer, leaves the Paris Opera and fights to integrate into the more mixed contemporary dance world. The metamorphosis of the courageous artist happens where she least expects it.
Allocine’s alleged 2018 production date seems impossible, since it was part of a six-film exhibition of the director’s films in February of 2018. IMDb’s original release date of December, 2016 is consistent with that fact.
WTF??
If anyone knows what the deal is, please tell the rest of us.
Anyway, Defoe somehow came up with this mystery film, and here is his film clip.
I slipped this into Bonitzer’s nudography, which is below.
2010 – The Three-Way Marriage AKA Le mariage à trois
2012 TV movie – Nights With Theodore, AKA Je suis une ville endormie, AKA Les nuits avec Théodore
2016 – Joan the Pope, AKA La papesse Jeanne
2016 – Right Here, Right Now; AKA Tout de suite maintenant
2016 – Vera
2018 – La Belle et le Belle, AKA When Margaux Meets Margaux
2019 – Osmosis, s1e8
2023 – Music
The nudography of this pretty, distinctive red-head seems to end there. There is nothing in the past five years, even though her career is still very active and she is still quite young (35).

Check the French Wikipedia entry….
In what way is this helpful? Vera isn’t even mentioned, is it?
Plot summary…
Véra, a young dancer, leaves the Paris Opera and fights to integrate into the more mixed contemporary dance world. The metamorphosis of the courageous artist happens where she least expects it.
Where do I find that info on the link you sent me?
Looks like it’s a 2018 movie. Try this link instead:
I got that link from clicking on the external link “Allocine” and then choosing the link for her whole filmography “Toute sa fimographie”, then clicking on Vera.
