UPDATE: added the 4K uncensored version

The original post follows:

As I’m sure you know, there was no explicit nudity in American films in 1959, but this is a British film from Hammer Studios, and the uncensored version was made for continental release. The same scene is in the American theatrical release, but was re-edited to eliminate the nudity.
Here is the same scene from both versions of the film, which is now out in HD.

There were not such scenes in British films at the time either. This was filmed for certain continental European markets.
Nice. I remember her from those Hammer and AFI films. Too bad they didn’t do something similar with the ridiculously gorgeous Veronica Carlson.
rarelust.com has both versions of the film and other extras from the DVD
I’ll let this slide through without a link, but I always delete any links to sites that share full movies, and in the future, I’ll even delete explanations of how to do it.
It’s clear than showing a brief excerpt from a film is cool – the same as quoting from a book, and it probably benefits the people marketing the film legally by creating an appetite for the product. (At one time, when I was still allowed to sell at Amazon, an employee there confided that I was responsible for 100% of the sales of Billy Bathgate!)
But ripping off full movies and giving them away is both illegal and detrimental to the people who make those films and give us so much entertainment.
I didn’t know they found the uncut European version. This was long thought to be lost and the only reason I knew this existed was because Hazel herself published the topless photo in her memoir.
