Formulaic American rom-com with a fantasy/sci-fi twist.
It’s the near future. Extra-marital sex has been banned in America except for one night per year. Two strangers crash into each other in New York on the one night when single people are allowed to have sex. Recently dumped Owen and hopeful romantic Allie may be the only two singles in the city looking for more than a quick encounter. They both feel a spark when they meet, but a series of missteps and side quests will complicate their night.
With such a ribald premise, you’d think there would be more nudity than this side-boob from a minor character. You’d be wrong. There’s plenty of sizzle, no steak.
The cameos in this film are more interesting than the central plot. Minor roles are filled by Bobby Cannavale, Pete Davidson, Molly Ringwald, Cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun), Flavor Flav, LaVar Burton, Maya Hawke, and others I’m probably missing.

Yeah, with the premise of the film and an R rating, I was also hoping for more skin.
Preferably from star Monica Barbaro, who’s been notably covered up in past roles.
Apparently there was meant to be, but test screenings with Gen z constituents caused them.to remove much of it.
Was going to say the same thing, basically. People might just be assuming the test audiences were Gen Z prudes.
