That headline is absurd. Talk about misleading clickbait. I wouldn’t call Albert Einstein, Mozart, Churchill or Abraham Lincoln “mentally challenged.” That wording makes you think of people like Rob Gronkowski or the Jersey Shore cast. In fact, the list is about people with a range of psychological issues like OCD and depression, or neurodevelopmental issues like dyslexia. Most, if not all, of the people mentioned here possess intellectual abilities that are average or better.

Herschel Walker I believe is mentally challenged. Either naturally or from CTE.
Yes, I thought he might be an exception, but I don’t know that for sure. And I don’t know about Daryl Hannah, Mike Tyson or Cher. They don’t seem like candidates to match wits with George Will.
Equating mental illness and learning disabilities with being mentally challenged is pretty offensive, then again we live in the RFK Jr. era of medicine, so who knows.

That’s the first I’ve heard about Winston Churchill having dyslexia – what with him being a journalist and a prolific writer. He did, however, suffer greatly from depression, which he called “Black Dog”. So much so that he had to be guarded at times in case he should become suicidal.
