The iced banana chocolate shake sounds good. Some of these, not so much.
If I recall correctly, McDonald’s in Norway three or four decades ago had a sandwich called a McTorsk (literal translation: McCod), but they changed the name to Happy Fish. I don’t know why they changed. Perhaps the name change allowed them to use pollock instead of pricier cod, or maybe they were just making it English-friendly. The sandwich itself was nothing weird – just a local variant on Filet O’Fish.
Surprisingly they had no reindeer or herring items.

Pinky, are you pondering what I’m ponderinG/
I think so, Brain. But if they called them Sad Meals, no one would buy them.
McDonald’s has been in a decline lately. I haven’t had their food in a month as the last 2 times I have had 2 pleasant experiences the last time I ordered food from them.
I am totally surprised Japan has the Loco Moco plate. All this time I thought Loco Moco was a Hawaii dish, and that’s totally something I would expect to see in a Hawaii McDonald’s (but we don’t for some reason).
In Hawaii we have spam breakfast plates, and Portuguese sausage breakfast plates. We also get fruit punch instead of orange soda. There used to be saimin but that has apparently been discontinued.
We also occasionally get the Taro pie. An interesting side note: Hawaii is the only place where you can get the old-school deep fried apple pies- the potentially deadly ones that can deliver 2nd degree burns if you’re not careful. Everywhere else it’s now baked or something. The Taro pies are deep fried too, so maybe China also has these old school apple pies.
