More than things on the list, here are things that make me nostalgic for the 80s:
1. Youthploitation comedies – Curtis Armstrong, Diane Franklin, Bill and Ted, Savage Steve Holland
2. Body Heat
3. Cousin Eddie
4. Video games in every convenience store.
5. The 1985 Bears – Refrigerator Perry, Jim McMahon
6. The Adventures of Pete & Pete
7. Roddy Piper and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
8. When the Berlin Wall fell, and it seemed, if only for a moment, that the world could get better.
What, no photos of women with natural bush? I am certainly nostalgic for a time when that was pretty much standard.

Macho Man Randy Savage’s insane-but-brilliant interviews with Gene Okerlund. That’s something I always think of about the 80’s. Nina Blackwood and Martha Quinn too, to some small extent. Now there’s two people definitely locked into the 80’s, since they were rarely heard from again after that decade.
Late night Cinemax in the early 80’s has warm nostalgia, being the age I was. Now-obscure and often bad horror films like The Children. Terror Train. Phobia. Fade to Black. The Funhouse. The Fifth Floor. If the guide said nudity, it was worth staying up to secretly watch while parents slept. They didn’t even know I had it. I had to go up the telephone pole to remove the scrambler from the cable at the junction box that went directly to my room, lol. But by God, taking such a risk allowed me to see actresses like Linda Kerridge and Dianne Hull nude, so it was worth it.
Nina Blackwood, Martha Quinn, and other 80’s MTV VJs were all scooped up by Sirius XM Satellite radio. Nina’s still on there (“80s on 8” channel) but Martha’s now got her own show on IHeartMedia.
I don’t have Sirius, so that’s why I didn’t know. Martha I’ve seen around very occasionally over the years, but it seemed like Blackwood was a Zodiac victim or something. But in terms of wide public knowledge, they’re both 80’s relics. Which happens; people have their primes and then fade from public awareness for the most part. Liz Montgomery, Lindsay Wagner come to mind. At least they did nude scenes though, while Martha & Nina didn’t as far as I know, since that would’ve been too unusual to do on MTV.
No known nudity from Martha, but Nina Blackwood was nude in the 08/1978 Playboy pictorial, “The Girls in the Office.”
She (Nina) was also in the 1982 epic “Vice Squad,” but wasn’t nude in the film.

Oh yeah, if they had Berzerk I was spending all my allowance on that. I once figured out the circling trick well before the pros did it, but I stopped using it because it made the game boring.
I spent many a quarter on Q-Bert and Ms. Pac-Man.
I had all the patterns memorized for regular Pac-Man, so I could play for a long time with one quarter. (I learned them from a book!)
