She was absolutely everywhere in the first decade of the millennium. She won the Kid’s Choice award for “Favorite Television Actress” four consecutive years. I don’t think she ever did a nude scene in her heyday, but Mr. Skin caught a Bynes nip-slip, or maybe a near miss, in a film called Lovewrecked (2005), when she was about 20.
As an adult, she has had a difficult row to hoe. She has struggled with substance abuse, mental illness, severe weight gain, etc. She was briefly under a conservatorship.

That’s just tragic, really.
Last time I saw her name, she was in the news for walking stark naked down a street, without a clue, and was put on a 5150 hold. She’ll probably get a talk show sometime; they all get one eventually. Either that, or she’ll rob a store like Dana Plato did, then go on Howard Stern to talk about it.
