Filmed in authentic African locales, starring George Segal and Orson Welles, with some scenes directed by the legendary Welles himself, this film arrived with some fanfare in 1969. It was in wide release in both the USA and UK, was reviewed by the major print outlets including the NY Times, and finished among the top twenty at the UK box office in 1969.
History has not been kind to it. It is rated 5.4 at IMDb, with only about 500 votes. In other words, it is nearly forgotten and those few who remember it are not kind in their appraisal. It did come out on DVD about 15 years ago, but has not been on Blu-Ray to my knowledge.
The obscurity of the film, deserved or not, means that the nude scene is rarely seen, and that is a loss because Ursula was one of the great screen beauties.
Ursula is still with us at age 88, albeit no longer active in films. Wikipedia says she splits her time between Rome and Switzerland.
