American-Croatian production filmed in Croatia.
Google AI says:
Wrongful Death (2023) is a movie that contains some horror elements, but is mainly a suspenseful, dramatic, and psychological thriller.
IMDb summarizes:
Captured inside the darkness of the strange, designed room, a narcissistic journalist and a mean sinful woman learn the hard way that the truth cannot be buried forever and what begins quite harmlessly, ends in a game of life and death.
This film wins the “have face will travel” perfecta, as it features both Michael Pare and Eric Roberts. Of course that’s not unusual, considering that they seem to be in every production. According to IMDb, they have worked together 31 times. I used the term “worked together” figuratively. In any given film where they are both in the cast, they may never meet, given that they sometimes fly in for a day or so, then hit the highway. They did, however, do scenes together in this film.

The “they’re in everything” syndrome.
It’s like this: these guys will generally say to their managers, look, review the scripts, make sure it’s not porn or anything else that’ll get me canceled. Past that, my fee is $X plus all travel.
I know at one point, if you paid Robert Englund (aka Freddy Krueger) $10k? He’d show up and do a few days on just about anything. Vampire movie in Bulgaria? With decent accommodations and all travel, you got it. Serial killer movie in Moldova? Bring it.
You piece together, say, 20 movies like that s year, you’re clearing $200k plus residuals while traveling the world and with tons of time to work the con circuit which is worth tens of thousands for a couple weekend days of being told how amazing you are.
For the cats who used to have substance abuse issues like Michael Madsen? You’re too busy to get back into the bottle and you’re doing what you enjoy. You’re spending a few hours a day in silly outfits playing pretend while your every need is catered to by PAs.
It’s better than taking the trash out for a living, yeah? Roberts and Pare are doing great, trust me.
FFS, reviews for this movie are all over the place, like some paid by the producers and some paid by the producers’ enemies.
