IMDb says this is a 2025 film, but the reality is that this must have been filmed at the same time in 2022 as Wrongful Death, because one supporting role is performed by Tom Sizemore, who died in March of 2023.
Both films were filmed in Croatia with a Croatian author, director and crew, and feature many of the same performers playing the same roles, so they really represent a single story presented in two parts. There is a sprinkling of Croatian actors filling some roles, but most of the key parts are filled by various have-face-will-travel actors from across the globe. In addition to Sizemore, the cast features Michael Paré, Eric Roberts, Bai Ling and Costas Mandylor.
So the films may have somehow time-traveled forward from 1990.
The films defy categorization into a specific genre. They are erotic thrillers and crime stories with strong overtones of gore horror and supernatural horror. (The evil mastermind, played by the director of the film, is subtly named Lou Cefair or Luzifer.) WD2 plays out like a hard-boiled detective film for the first 2/3 or so, then veers off into supernatural territory, but there’s even some comedy along the way, provided by Bai Ling as an insatiable nymphomaniac.
They are, in a nutshell, B movies. (Both films are rated 4.6 at IMDb.)
TRIVIA: according to IMDb’s “collaboration search,” Eric Roberts and Michael Paré, kings of the hired gun crowd, have now appeared together in 36 different projects.

Think Actresses who have multiple medical procedures to “enhance” their look have a mental problem. Either it’s their age or some type of psychosis that they need to “improve” how they look. But they’re really just ruining themselves. She looks more like a joke now than anything. Who want’s to hire her that she looks that way? she pigeonholed herself in to that look. and what roles are up for her? obvious. Pillow lips, F size Boobs, ridiculous.
I don’t think there was much available to her before. Her official age is 59, but she’s probably around 70. She graduated from high school and entered the Army in 1978, and she had done a mandatory work year between middle school and high school, so she was probably 19. That would make her birth year 1959, and her age 67 this year. The director tried to keep her in darkness and shadows, but there were a few frames in Wrongful Death 2 where she looked every bit of 70.
I imagine she’s going to get about the same amount of opportunities with or without the enhancements. Like Eric Roberts, she can act as much as she wants to, but not in the sorts of films she would prefer.
