Netflix mini-series from Italy. Based on a true story.
This tenacious and courageous woman, head of the most famous Italian erotic magazine in the 60s/70s, ‘Playmen,’ the Italian answer to Playboy. Under Adelina’s leadership, the magazine contributed to the radical change in Italian customs, not without going through the thousand difficulties typical of every revolution. The elegant nude, which revealed without showing off, the courage of the topics covered, which often incited the woman to legitimize her desire, combined with important contributions from the major Italian intellectuals, made “Playmen” a place of free and eclectic conversation. An intelligent and unrepeatable transgression in a very religious and conservative Italy.
Carolina Crescentini stars as publisher Adelina Tattilo.

Italy is carrying world tv nudity 🤣🤣🤣
I didn’t know they made a biopic about the founder of Playmen magazine. I’d have to check this one out. That magazine featured some of the hottest Italian actresses in the buff including a fresh faced pre-porn Ilona Staller aka Cicciolina. Anjelica Huston even posed completely nude for it although I believe the full frontal shots were only published years later.
