Fiona is a British actress who often contributed her beautiful face and body to films in the 1970s, sometimes sans clothing. In that same decade, she appeared in Playboy and posed for a surprisingly graphic photoshoot for Helmut Newton.
She never broke through to the A-list, but was one of the brighter and more articulate actresses in the world of 1970s cinema. She spoke fluent French and not only read books, but occasionally took the time to write some, or to dash off some articles for toney publications like The New Yorker. She retired from acting nearly 40 years ago, but now has a witty, gossipy blog called Fiona’s French Chateau, which is filled with anecdotes about her life and loves in the 60s and 70s, as well as stories about (as you might expect from the title) her French chateau.

Argh I miss tanlines, plus Listzomania, she definitely seems like the type of Brit actress who’d be stripping for Ken Russell
Her relationship with Russell was uneasy, to say the least.
