For the record, she pronounces her name Guh-LANE (hard G, ignore the H and the S). This is not the same as the French pronunciation. Therefore, everyone seems to have a different idea about how to say it.

Afterthoughts about Shatner’s birthday: You know, the verb “to suck” has taken over the world. When I used to say, a few decades ago, “I suck at Asteroids,” women actually got offended. Now everyone says “suck” on family shows and “Meet the Press.” In fact, most of the impolite slang…
Ten Cartoon Shows for Adults
The list is obvious and superficial, but it reminded me of something I had totally forgotten. According to that article, Family Guy was cancelled after three seasons. There were no episodes from 2002-2004, and it seemed to be dead, but in the face of entreaties from an ardent fan base,…

Still trying to make this a thing, eh?
You mean humor?
Yes.
So you don’t think that there is anything fishy here? If so, do you think that is largely just ideological on your part or actually realistic? And I asking this as a liberal who thinks that there are probably as many Democrats as Republicans (possibly including Donald Trump) who would be implicated if the truth were fully known.
And just to clarify, my questions were posed to ‘TrutherB’, not Scoop.
Unlike some, I would be happy with the release of just one document. The U.S. Marshal’s office allegedly has a record of one very specific thing – the passenger lists of people who flew to St. Thomas on Epstein’s private plane.
The other flights are unimportant. If people flew on the Epstein plane from Boston to Atlanta, it means nothing. But if they were going to the secret sex island, they got a lot of ‘splainin’ to do, and I don’t think people are going to accept the Frank Reynolds excuse. (“I was only there for the snorkeling”)
(By the way, this is not a Trump issue. I’m fairly certain that the President would not be on that list.)
No, I don’t think there is some magical list of pedophiles in a secret government safe somewhere. It would have been leaked anytime during the last four years, especially considering the impact on the election.
I’d go so far to say you’d have to be a complete lunatic to honestly believe such a thing exists.
Many sources have reported the existence of the flight lists on Epstein’s plane to St. Thomas, but as far as I know, they have not leaked.
The flaw in your logic, in suggesting that it should have leaked, is that such a list might be embarrassing for EITHER side to release. What they gain by revealing those on the other side might be negated by revealing those on their side.
(Or there might be no POLITICAL damage at all. Perhaps the people on the St. Thomas flight list are on neither political side. It might be a list of plutocrats, lawyers, foreigners, entertainment figures, etc – thus providing no real advantage to any ideologue releasing it.)
Thomas Massie, one of the reps who has pushed for the details to be released, just revealed today a giant Trump/GOP/Mike Johnson donor is in the ‘black book’ named John Paulson.
So you have your coverup there, Trump and the GOP are protecting their pedophile donors. Not surprising at all, we’ll see if this picks up steam.
That’s old news. Those names have been public for years. Paulson’s name is in there, along with Alec Baldwin, Mike Wallace, Barbara Walters and pretty much everyone else of significance.
Here is the so-called 2004 Black Book, all the names of which have been made public.
Here are the names on the 1997 black book, which is in the possession of Business Insider. Business Insider has not published the book itself, but has complied and published a list of all the names in it. Paulson is not in that one. My favorite name on that one, besides Donald Trump, is Joan Severance.
Add: DOJ Deputy Chief was caught on camera by some alt-right organization admitting they would redact any Trump/GOP names on the Epstein list and leave everyone else from the opposition out to the public. Now that Congress is back in session, they’re doing a good job of getting the story more traction with their own stupidity.
There’s irony in someone who supports Trump calling anyone a lunatic with the complete lack of logic in any statement or policy he makes.
MAGA voters have been the ones to try make it a thing since the guy was exposed. Along with a ton of crazier conspiracy shit like qAnon and other schizophrenic cult bullshit.
So sick of this bitch and knowing she’ll get pardoned.
But why would she be pardoned.? And why indeed is she already doing easy time in a special prison setting by virtue of a recent federal order? She was convicted of very serious crimes and received a long sentence and neither a pardon nor the easy time she is doing in advance of a possible pardon are at all usual in these circumstances. The question is why.
Put another wayy: the only way that convicted felons get their sentences reduced/lightened is when they provide information that assists in getting other people convicted.
Maxwell is probably the first person in history to get a break for explicitly NOT providing any useful information. Why would Trump’s personal lawyer, oh, excuse me, I mean the DOJ , bother to make a deal with someone who doesn’t help them arrest somebody? It stinks to high heaven.
For me, the ideal situation would be for her to be pardoned, then quietly move abroad to a non-extradition country where she’ll write a book, naming all the names and unearthing all the skeletons. The book is released as soon as trump is out of power.
Then once all the guilty parties have been jailed, she catches rabies and dies.
She’d still have to fear being pre-emptively murdered by agents of a nervous billionaire. Being beyond extradition is not enough. And civil suits might be a problem too.
Was the terrible CGI part of it for some reason? I had to stop watching.
