Music manager Eric learns that his best friend Alex has an inoperable brain tumor . Karla, Alex’s girlfriend, is pregnant and doesn’t know if Alex will live to see the birth of his child. After Eric realizes he doesn’t know how to say goodbye and let Alex go, he applies for an internship at a funeral home. There, he tries to assert his own style against his boss’s conservative methods and finds an unconventional way to celebrate his farewell.
