This is a deadly serious drama from Finland about the nature of sexual relationships. AKA Wild Game, AKA Villi Leikki (Finnish, literally “Wild Play,” according to Google Translate).
A man and a woman, she a successful scientist, he mostly a stay-at-home husband, are in love and vacationing on the Finnish coast amidst rugged nature. Little is revealed about either of them, partly because the relationship drama is primarily interested in their sex lives, in which they experiment with role assignments, power, and submission in the search for the emotional truth in their relationship.

In plain English, that means they do some kinky fuckin’, and they never enjoy it.
I don’t think the people who called it “wild game” know what that expression means in English, i.e. edible animals hunted in their natural habitat. I think they mean “wild games,” but perhaps I am underestimating them and they are making some kind of clever double entendre that I don’t understand.

Well, there’s the cliche about never assume evil intent behind actions that can be explained as just stupidity.
Similarly here, I wouldn’t call it profound, or profound beyond your ability to understand, when it could easily be ‘we made up a story (and title) to get a chick naked and film it.’
