It’s never a bad time to bring up Rosanna Arquette’s nudity, but this particular movie came up to the front burner because the screenwriter of this film is the same fellow who wrote China Moon, Roy Carlson. He disappeared from the industry after those two films. Based on some clues, I speculated in the China Moon post that he is probably the same Roy Carlson who died in Tampa in 1997, but I don’t know that for a fact.
A merchant seaman gets entangled in a murder in Tampico, Mexico, goes on the run from an entertaining pair of federales, and finds himself in the company of a blowhard American and his available wife. The middle-aged man and the sultry young wife share their convertible with the young man, and their 3-way relationship gets curiouser and curiouser as the police close in.
Debuting on Showtime, it’s a tribute to classic B films
Variety wrote:
Rosanna Arquette is the inarguable centerpiece of the picture. Watching her gallivant around as a voluptuous bimbo who is continually stirring up the testosterone of Anderson and Lithgow, it is impossible not to regard the film as a documentary tribute to the actress’ breasts.
As the good lord intended!
In fact, I would pay IMAX prices to watch a documentary tribute to Rosanna’s breasts. Talk about a deserving winner of Golden Globes.
To my dismay, I discovered that I have only crappy film clips. This must be available in higher quality somewhere, because some of the collages above look great. Who has some decent clips?

How did this come out in 1993. I remember renting it as a kid and the shit vhs quality made me assume it was from the mid 80s
I do hope some better quality clips come to light because that right there is a documentary that should be preserved for future generations.
John Lithgow is a lucky man!
I dunno why this movie is called The Wrong Man. It should have been called The Right Breasts. Rosanna definitely belongs in the Bare Bosom Hall of Fame
