Model, actress Dayle Haddon dead at 76 after suspected carbon monoxide leak

Her first screen nudity was a brief butt shot in a Canadian film dominated by Elizabeth Ashley.

She had appeared in a Disney film, but capped off 1973 with a Playboy pictorial called “Disney’s latest hit,” which couldn’t have helped her standing in the Mouse House.

She then moved to Europe for bigger roles (1974-1978). She did get plenty of screen time overseas, predicated on her willingness to do extensive nudity in films that would be called mediocre by the more generous among us. That seemed to be a fair trade-off at the time, so she managed to get some top billing in films like Spermula, and managed to pay all the bills.

When she returned to the States in the 1980s, she did only one more nude scene, an episode of the Hitchhiker in 1986 (s3e6).

She had some hard times in the 1990s, but had a successful modeling career in her later years as a spokesperson for Clairol, Estee Lauder and L’Oreal.
