Bubble-brained Candy Christian travels to Hollywood to make it big and instead gets taken under the wing of a sleazy ‘talent agent’ bent on exploiting her for his own personal gain.

I have sort of a connection here, albeit an indirect one.

Wendy and I were born in the same hospital, just three months apart. She grew up about two miles from me, although those two miles were all water, a large bay that split our neighborhoods into completely separate communities that never mixed. Mine (Irondequoit) was suburban, barely escaping urban. Hers (Webster) was rural, trying to be suburban.

Many people from her town commuted to my high school, so many that there were school buses specifically dedicated to that route. At one of my reunions, I asked the Webster guys whether anyone knew her. None had attended her elementary school, and none had ever even run into her, but they mentioned that the driver of their school bus, Bob Williams, was her dad!

After childhood, our lives were very different. By the time we were 16, she was hitchhiking around the world and I was probably still trying to organize my baseball cards. By the time we reached our late 20s, she was working in porno and sex shows, including Candy Goes to Hollywood, and I was a working stiff, a suburban dad, and still kind of a naif. The baseball cards were gone, but I was still in possession of my comic book collection. By 1998, as we were about to turn 50, I had already retired, and was enjoying my new life as Uncle Scoopy. She was putting a bullet through her brain.

There were probably times when I envied her adventurous life and her eventual international fame as lead singer of the Plasmatics, but in retrospect, my incredibly boring path through corporate America was a much better choice.

Film clips. For some reason, this crappy movie is available on Blu-Ray! Wendy appeared, using her real name (!!), as a contestant on “The Dong Show,” where she got donged by a fake Jaye P. Morgan. The X-rated “Chuck Bareass” did a fairly good impersonation of the real thing.

Some seven years later, Wendy appeared topless in Reform School Girls. Those must have been seven tough years. She was lookin’ pretty rough at 37.

This is actually a skit. British artist Katerina Jebb made this film of Kylie Minogue for her imaginary TV channel Lucid TV Paris. It is part of the exhibition titled” Simulacrum & Hyperbole.” The series was presented at Trading Museum , Comme des Garcons Paris .

The premise here is that Kylie insured her famous booty for some astronomical amount, and the insurance company then asked if our own “assets” were covered. This was about 2012, give or take.

Assassinada e Condenada means “Murdered and Convicted”

This is a six-part drama from HBO Latin America. It is based on a true story: the 1976 murder of Brazilian socialite Angela Diniz. Her death and the ensuing murder trial led to a major change in that nation’s jurisprudence.

Ângela Diniz’s murder became a landmark case in Brazil after her killer, Doca Street, was initially acquitted under the misogynistic “legitimate defense of honor.” The lenient outcome sparked nationwide feminist protests, which ultimately pushed the case back to court and helped discredit that defense.

This is a gentle fantasy film targeting a female audience. As of now, it is virtually unseen (72 votes at IMDb), but is now streaming on Prime and Apple TV.

Retreating to a cabin her late mother believed was magical, a skeptical Eve meets Danni, a witch whose secrets challenge Eve’s logic. As romance sparks, supernatural secrets and a vengeful neighbor threaten everything Danni holds dear.

Diora keeps her clothes on in their sex scenes, but Myrem’s breasts are exposed.

This is based on one of the treasures of Soviet literature.

About the book, per Wikipedia:

The devil and his entourage visit the officially atheist Soviet Union. The devil, manifested as one Professor Woland, challenges the Soviet citizens’ beliefs towards religion and condemns their behavior throughout the book. The Master and Margarita combines supernatural elements with satirical dark comedy and Christian philosophy, defying categorization within a single genre. Many critics consider it to be one of the best novels of the 20th century, as well as the foremost of Soviet satires

Clearly there is some movie magic in the scene below. Yulia’s breasts don’t look natural, for one thing, especially when she is on her back, but I don’t know whether that is CGI, prosthetics, or just implants.

I did a film clip of the nude scene, but the damned thing is 15 minutes long in 4K, so it’s an impossibly large download (6+ gig), and there’s almost no place to store it. If you have the patience, it’s on Rapidgator.

At its heart, it’s a sentimental retelling of the Snow White tale, but it is told with nudity, extreme gore and jokes. It maintains a tone similar to those “historical” or “mythological” softcore drive-in movies from the late 60s and early 70s. You may remember them. They each had a title that began with some phrasing like “The Erotic Adventures of (fill in famous name here)…”. They were theoretically about Henry VIII or Robin Hood or Siegfried, but that was just a pretext for yet another cheap nudie flick, with maybe a few gags along the way.

Same deal here, with less nudity, but more gore.

Snow White and the queen (when in her beautiful avatar) kept their clothing on. The nudity was provided by the queen when she was in her witch avatar (different actress), and the mirror that did the “fairest of all” power rankings for the magical kingdom. Hoo, boy did the queen throw a hissy fit when the “mirror, mirror on the wall” dropped her to #2 behind Snow White!

The identity of #3 was never revealed.

I can’t imagine who was supposed to be the audience for this film. It definitely wasn’t IMDb visitors, who dropped a 4.4 on it.

Variety panned it, but the genre reviewers liked it. There are such three reviews on RT, and all of them are characterized “fresh”!

The nudity:

Mikaela Porter, Kerry Murphy and Chynna Rae Shurts as the spirits in the mirror. They had a lot of screen time, but these two captures sum up their appearances. If you want to see more, all of their screen time is included in the videos below.

Laura Hunter is the poor girl who had to test magic remedies before the queen would try them. There were many failures.
