Oh, that Satan! Say what you want about his behavior, but he always stays sparkling clean and insists on the same from his acolytes. His spa is probably the only one that offers special deals to clean horns, hooves and tails.

Don’t know if this has been mentioned before. Great nudity in Let’s Both Try Both – 2025. It’s on Amazon Prime. Every actress in the movie is nude, include multiple fully nude shots of two of them running around in the desert naked and being photographed in the dudes apartment over and over. The lead is topless at the end.

I covered this in the Fun House on May 16th. I didn’t post it here because it’s basically a bunch of unknown naked women in an unknown film (no votes on IMDb, no reviews on Rotten Tomatoes), and I don’t have IDs for all of the women. But there is, as advertised, a massive amount of nudity. Since there is some interest in it – here it is, with the IDs I have:

German comedy. (Yeah, yeah, I know. Insert oxymoron jokes here. It’s actually funny. Check out the scene where she catches her boyfriend cheating. It has kind of an American Pie vibe. Picture Stifler as the cheating boyfriend.)
Art student SARAH (Nora Islei), who loves her freedom, has to go into a 14-day quarantine. As if that wasn’t bad enough, she catches her boyfriend JONAS screwing someone else in their own apartment. The next morning, Sarah is caught cold by a registered letter from her landlord TEMPEL (Tim Wilde): 6 months of late payments. If she does not pay the debt within the next 14 days, she will be kicked out of her beloved apartment. The discovery: Her ex Jonas has not paid the rent as agreed, but rather invested the money in a cam-girl site on the Internet. Sarah could actually hope for financial help from her father (Gedeon Burkhard), but since she changed her studies against his will, the house is in trouble. No matter, she can manage on her own, in her own way. After a few miserable attempts to legitimately earn money from home, the pragmatic Sarah, facing the threat of being kicked out of her apartment, sees no other choice but to try herself on the very cam-girl site where her ex-boyfriend squandered the joint rent.
Nora Islei turns in one of the better nude performances of the year.

I’m not buying the “testing of a bullet proof vest”. A bullet can still break ribs from the force. You wouldn’t just have a dude shooting you from ten feet away. Like, maybe it was a marketing gimmick “test”.

It’s fair to say it was a marketing gimmick, but the photo is real, and so is the incident. The photo is found in the Library of Congress, labeled Sept. 13, 1923. The photo shows an employee of the Protective Garment Corp named W.H. Murphy demonstrating his company’s product. The shooter, Joseph Stehlin, also an employee of that corporation, fired two shots.
The incident was covered by a local D.C. newspaper. Murphy and Stehlin also staged a duel at point-blank range, from which they emerged unscathed. On September 13, the evening newspaper ran a photo of that encounter, which had taken place that same morning in Potomac Park, so the LOC seems to have its facts straight.
After that demonstration, Murphy allowed a uniformed policeman named O.W. Reese to fire one shot from an even shorter distance.
Sergeant Reese was not part of the staged demonstration, and used his own service revolver, so there could have been no trickery involving blanks or fake pistols. Murphy presented Reese with his own bullet, suitably flattened.

There are other pictures available of men being shot from still shorter distances. To demonstrate his own patented vest, an inventor named Leo Krause would let people shoot him from inches away. He allegedly was shot 4,000 times without being injured. I hope he sold a lot of vests.
Not only would I not volunteer for Leo’s job, I would even have been afraid to be the shooter. I don’t know the physics of those vests, but I’d be worried about the bullet or fragments ricocheting back at me. Of course, my cowardice is legendary (I euphemistically refer to it as “prudence”).

Sam Burns took the lead at -3 by shooting an incredible 65.
Only three players are under par, and they will probably struggle to stay there.
The cut was +7 and four of the world’s top ten golfers couldn’t even match that. Only one of those ten (Russell Henley) is in the top ten at Oakmont.
The bookies still feel that Scottie Scheffler is one of the four favorites, along with the three who are under par. Scheffler is seven strokes behind, but is still only paying off at 8-1.
Justin Hastings of the Cayman Islands, age 21, is assured of becoming the low amateur. After shooting a pair of 73s, he’s the only amateur that made the cut, although more than a dozen qualified to play. It’s not easy to become a great golfer in the Caymans – there are only two golf courses, and only one of them has the full 18 holes. Hastings holds the course record on that full-sized course, with an eye-popping 57!

The story below proves what a cruel game golf can be:
George Duangmanee is a 23-year-old kid who recently turned pro. His only route into PGA events was the Monday qualifiers, where a bunch of hopefuls compete for very few spots. Last month he defied the odds by making it into the Myrtle Beach Classic, where he again defied the odds by making the cut! He then went through the qualifying process for the US Open, got through the local qualifier, then again defied the odds by shooting 68-67 in the final qualifier on June 2, thus punching his ticket to the big show. He had made it through the same process where Ricky Fowler and Sergio Garcia had failed. It’s safe to say that on June 2, two weeks ago, he was on the top of the world, having demonstrated a tremendous combination of poise, talent and luck in the previous month.
That dream-bubble not only burst, but did so in dramatic fashion. He carded an 86 in the first round at Oakmont, the day’s worst round. He probably thought that, if nothing else, the worst was over. It wasn’t. He followed that up with an even worse round of 89, which was again the worst round of the day.
