When their son starts acting strangely, a couple (Matt Smith and Morfydd Clark) unwittingly allow dark and sinister forces into their home, awakening a long-dormant ancient evil rooted deep in the countryside.
Matt Smith has been in some high-profile roles (Dr. Who, Prince Philip, Daemon Targaryen), so I was surprised to see him in a cheesy, glacially-paced horror film (5.3 IMDb) about a sacred bunny. I have to admit, though, that he definitely has the face for horror films. He is one scary-lookin’ mofo. For most actors, the challenge in playing Jekyll and Hyde on stage is to transform instantly into Hyde without make-up or prosthetics. For Matt, the hard part would be to stop being scary long enough to play the buttoned-down Dr. Jekyll.

That’s going to be right up there with “Night of the Lepus” for pure rabbit horror. This looks like a leporiphobiac’s nightmare.
Bring forth The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
Smith has made it clear he’s going to act in the projects he wants. He took a couple for other reasons ::ahemterminatorcough:: and they went badly. Now? It’s what he feels, or screw it.
He can still make cash, doing stuff like that tits and dragons show. He’s just not doing stuff FOR the cash.
Maybe he liked the makers of this one, or the part. Who knows?
Whatna folks wrong Witch U weirdos? How is this about Matt Smith or the fookin rabbit? On the matter at hand, I’ll believe that hand & that face belong to Morfydd Clark. That, I buy. I’m just not convinced the object in question isn’t a prosthetic.
