Portuguese TV film adaptation of the eponymous short story by Natália Correia
Literally: “The Acclaimed Playwright Cured by Pink Pills”
Ana has reached a stalemate in her life. Unhappy with her marriage and her job, she sees no way out of the situation she finds herself in. The playwright enters her life as a simple telephone directory distributor who, in fact, according to him, is one of the cast of characters that will appear throughout the story. All of these characters end up being defined as knights who are thrown into the storm of life. This is a speech that affects and awakens our protagonist to confront what seems to be, and is, her conformity with the life that has come to her. And so she follows the advice of the acclaimed playwright, until she discovers the evidence of the rupture that only she can make.
