Katie Aselton co-wrote, directed, and starred in this drama.
SPOILERS:
Here’s the official blurb:
Erin and Charlie escape to the desert to navigate an unexpected and challenging new phase of their relationship.
It’s a “new phase,” to say the least, said phase consisting of the fact that Charlie is dead. Oh, we see him, and she talks to him, but the entire film consists of her working out how life will proceed without him, progressing through the stages of grief.

Video. It’s a long one, designed to put the one second of nudity in context.

The lead character in this movie needed help from the United Appeal for the Dead. I guess getting that help would not have suited the director’s vision. This shows the kind of thing the UAD does (1.75 minute video)
