Whatever happened to her? I can remember people saying that she was the next big thing back around 1999, but her career kinda fizzled, and she now seems to have disappeared without a trace. The last picture of her in the Getty Images archive is more than five years old.
Elsewhere in her career:
One nipple of hers was visible in Grace (2009)
Video – Jordan Ladd – Grace (2009)
and her butt was exposed in Junked (2009)

Michelle Derstine was body double for the athletic bit.

That link leads only to itself.
Where else did you think it would go?
She was great in Club Dread, what perfect tits. Only wish we could have seen her mom’s tits that clearly as they always looked exceptional. I doubt anything special happened for or against her in her career, there are tons of people trying to make it big in Hollywood and most disappear as quickly as they arrived. She probably didn’t sleep with enough powerful men, at least not as many as others did.
Story I heard was she was up for the Rose McGowan part in Doom Generation but Cheryl wouldn’t allow it, she wound up in one of the director’s movies later – she was cute I liked her small part in Death Proof but there were a lot of blond babes with similar looks in the 2000s, Heather Graham, Marley Shelton
IIRC she got a reduction.
Yeah when she was 16.
She’s hit 50…
That doesn’t explain why she completely disappeared. Her mom is still working at 70-something. No Hallmark films? Nothing?
Maybe she just wanted to be out of the public life for a reason she chose to keep private.
Check out her FB page, looks like she made several convention appearances last year.
I imagine she could get some roles if she wanted to, so maybe not doing any is a choice?
She looked really good in this recent Twitter post:
Doing the convention circuit is hardly keeping out of the public eye…
Hallmark really isn’t her bailiwick. At nineteen appeared in the direct-to-video erotic film Embrace of the Vampire (1994).
She tried to enter that bailiwick. Jordan made a syrupy Christmas movie for Lifetime a few years back.
Embrace was the film for which Alyssa Milano won Nude Scene of the Year. I haven’t seen that since it first hit video, and don’t remember Jordan’s role.
I’ve heard nothing. I don’t even think she’s on the con circuit. If she is, she doesn’t do a ton of them.
This usually means one of two things: something took her out of the industry or she left and isn’t coming back.
Addiction or mental health issues are the usual things that take people out. Health issues like what hit Selma Blair are the other.
Leaving? For actresses, it can be that they married well and just don’t want to work (AJ Langer, who was a young actress best known for People Under The Stairs, bailed just as her career was picking up because she married royalty. She’s literally a duchess or something, living in the UK.)
Given that Ladd was in horror, I’d usually hear if she wiped out. Bad gas travels fast in a small industry. That makes it more likely that she just got tired of it and bailed.
Nancy Kovack & Pamela Tiffin were two of the most beautiful ladies to ever grace the screen, but they both said fuck this, left the biz, & never returned. You could count Sabrina Scharff in there with them, who vacated the premises in 1975, and to a lesser extent, Kathryn Harrold, who said “Fuck this shit, I wanna be a shrink.”
According to IMDB she is is a movie that is in pre-production right now called Letters From Iceland.
From that page:
Status Updated: 18 Sep 2017
Sounds like that film is never going to get released.
2004 as a contributor you asked me to find her nude scene(s) in Club Dread. Replied who is Jordan Ladd and why should I care? 😮 So accessed eMule and found a screener. ✔
21 yrs ago … time flies!
