Although we think of Joan as somebody from the distant past, she just got first billing in a 2026 movie, A Murder Between Friends, which seems like kind of a rip-off of the Benoit Balls, “James Bond of the Bayou” mysteries. Amazingly, she looks about the same as she did 50 years ago, so kudos to her wigmaker, her make-up specialists, and whatever other methods she uses to look impressively good at 92!
In creating this retrospective, I realized that she made some really bad movies. I can’t recall that she has even been in anything worth watching. That’s an amazing achievement for a career that spans 72 years!
The appearances:
In the six years 1974-1979, while in her forties, she did nude scenes in six terrible films, and all are now available in 1080hd quality. She posed for Playboy when she turned 50 in 1983.
There wasn’t much to see in the rest of her career, except that some or all of the nudity in Besieged (1969) might be Joan. I couldn’t find that film in HD.

I think she was also semi-nude in “Can Heironymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?” I’ve never found a decent copy of it but there was a lot of nudity there from several women. There was a feature of it on the March 1969 issue of Playboy.
Also, in her documentary, they showed clips as well as several BTS footage from the set of Heironymus Merkin. There was also some sexy home videos of Joan in a bikini and at one point naked but lying facedown. The whole thing is on YouTube.
I just watched Heironymus Merkin yesterday, in preparation for this post. A real oddball of a movie. Gotta love Milton Berle as satan.
Plenty of nudity, none from Joan. Connie Kreski was a babe!
The Bravados is a really solid revenge Western. So that’s one good one she was in!
I remember an episode of “Run For Your Life” where she reveals her panties while removing her jeans. Exciting stuff for a young horny kid of that era. Wonder how it looks today. She also looked great when Capt. Kirk and Spock traveled back to the 20th century to rescue Bones
Joan at 50 years looked incredibly good in Playboy… Ok, Ok, after some airbrushing, but still awesome.
