She is one that I aways assumed was some producers daughter or something. She is hard working and has gotten nude often but I’ve never seen her appeal in anything I have seen her in. Not that I have seen her in much in the last 30 years.

Always liked her and her willingness to go nude. Paul Verhoeven gave us her best nudity in “Flesh+Blood.”
Thanks for posting! I always wanted to see this scene but the VHS was always checked out at Blockbuster. In addition to lovely JJL, we get to see Julie, Your Cruise Director, shoot some guy in the head (with her eyes closed!)
By far she was at her best in Fast Times. She took that part off the page and made that young girl really come alive. Sadly, she was then miscast in a lot of crappy roles like Miami Blues and Single White Female. Tarantino wasted her completely in one of the most thankless, ugly roles in history in Hateful Eight.
But nudity, she never had a problem with. The director of Fast Times, in her commentary, said JJL was more than ready to get nude in her sex scenes. She’s not shy. Nor should she be; she’s beautiful, sexy, talented, and smart.
Everybody talks about Phoebe Cates in Fast Times but JJL was the real dream girl for me, & great boobies in Miami Blues too – had a very nice butt shot in something as recently as 2013
