I was going to joke that the insanity defense is apparently no longer valid, but when I read the article I realized it may still apply.
Reasons for a lenient sentence:
He is an out-of-state resident, he is elderly, he has got some difficulties, physical and otherwise.
As the young ‘uns say, “No shit, Sherlock.”
So the lesson here is to go out of state if you want to assault someone, got it
(Unless you’re a billionaire, then it doesn’t matter regardless, obviously)
The real lesson is ALL Trump/MAGA supporters are sex offenders to some degree. Every single day brings more and more evidence that proves it.

I’m sure there are sex offenders in Trump World because there are sex offenders everywhere. Are they disproportionately represented in the MAGA crowd? I don’t know, and I’ve never seen statistics that would support that. But I do know it can’t be ALL.
And I have never seen any evidence that Trump had sex with underage women. Andy Lucchesi accused Trump of attending sex parties where underage girls were present, but when pressed he could not clearly stipulate that Donald had sex with underage girls, or even that the girls at the parties were definitely underage. What does seem to be true is that Trump hosted those parties at the Plaza, and that young girls hooked up with older, prosperous men, probably including Trump.
Exactly HOW young were the young women? Unknown.
All of that is second- and third-hand info. To my knowledge, no woman has ever come forward to say that Trump had sex with her when she was underage. If there were such incidents, I believe the women would have come forward by now. God knows plenty of women have come forward with other accusations.
The most similar thing that women have reported is Trump’s entering the dressing room full of unclad teenagers. That’s certainly creepy, but it’s far from statutory rape.

Wait until you’re 80, be certifiably demented, and THEN go out of state and grab a woman’s butt over her clothes. You should get away with it. Ol’ George Bush senior did this, and the coppers never slipped the cuffs on him at all. In comparison, Busey got harsh treatment.
